| Araw Values Awards on Dolphy Theatre Last week this month of November 2014, the attitude of an award giving body unveil as a news anchor had been not respected by thus award. But, how the award is called Unfair and Bias? First of all, this award giving body is named as "Araw Values Awards" , an award giving body organized by the executives of Unliver Philippines. Araw Values Awards is co-organized also by ABS-CBN, so in this sutuation, you can think that it maybe unfair in some networks or groups. But, an issue is created, making this award giving body, called as : Shameful, Unfair, Biased, Not Respected and Worst Award Giving Body in the Philippines. |
One of the awardee invited to get an award is the group of Honest Taxi Drivers, called by name of Radyo5 Taxi Squad of TV5. Held by the News Anchor, broadcast Journalist, Mr. Raffy Tulfo. This group is a loyal listener of his program "Wanted Sa Radyo". Because they are well known in some drivers and small groups of filipinos, his program gets popular and called as "Sulian Ng Bayan!". Many of people surrenders some lost items, even moneys of some foreigners. Thats why they called it and they give awards to people who give back lost items to individuals. So, all people, including the taxi drivers in the philippines is popular to idol raffy tulfo and his program to tv5. But how, his good acts affects him to disrepect by values awards?
TV5 and ABSCBN IS RIVAL NETWORK. So thats why, in the award events, it happens. All member of Radyo5 Taxi Squads members are invited to the event to recieved the awards. Also, their idol raffy tulfo, prepare for the event. The event of Araw Values awards is held at Dolphy Theatre of ABSCBN Compound. When the event starts, all awardees are given. Until in the last award given, the radyo5 members and idol raffy, did not get onto stage to recieved the award. Because of unrespectful and no values by this award committee, idol raffy leaves the event. But one thing happens, when idol raffy leaves the event, one of the organizers give the award after the ceremony. Which means, they intend to give the award, if the anchor leaves.
This issue came up, after he cameback on his program on Radyo5. Idol Raffy story tell all what happens in the event, the security of theater greets him, but when he got to go to comfort room, a security personnel follows him, intend that idol raffy will do not right which is a bad impression to him even who persons in his situation. Also, he reveals that the program line up, has been changed by ABSCBN itself. Which means it is so unfair and for my point of view, a long practices of a greedy network, just to get popular even, some peoples gets affected.
The Award, by request of idol raffy and all taxi members, specially by listeners of his program wants to give back the award to the organizers of the event. It happens when Ms. Luchi Cruz-Valdez; Cheif of News5 News and Information approves also. So the award is given back but, two new awards are given to Tulfo Brothers by the PMPC Star Awards for TV. After this issue spreads out, the organizer did not respond on this matter and they keep silent. Silence means yes, that they are Unfair and Biased. This is a lesson that we learned, that greeds can kill human attitudes from being Good to Bad.
