June has passed, but rainy season just feel by the month of July now. Forecasters says that the common causes of delays in rains for this year is due to Climate Change. Forecasters says that last month we experienced an intense heat temperature in the mobth of april to may this year. Causing shutdowns of electrical powerplants and causing rotational brownout in some parts of luzon. Visayas and Mindanao experiences long rotational brownouts due to lack of supplies causing it increase in costly high. So that's why Department of Energy is continously monitoring all activities happening in powerplants. But, it is effective to help conserve energy and decreases the needs to it? Yes! But, if some of us does not cooperate, it will not happen. Thats why we give simple advices on how to help first the enviroment:
1.) Help segregate trash, do not use fire to dissolve garbages, it may causes the thinning of our ozone layer that protecting us from intense rays of sun. Do not throw garbages in canals, rivers, bays and other seabodies. Be responsible and use your mind and conscience.
2.) Join the clean projects of our government, even if you are not a member of a organization, help by cleaning your sorroundings and other parts near to you.
3.) Report to local authorities any illegal activities, like throwing waste and toxic materials in a community area near school, hospitals and any public places. This may help reduce the floods and diseases.
How to help conserve electicity?
1.) If you are not daily using appliances, try going outside your house and play with your love ones or pets. It may help you decrease your electricity consumption.
2.) Report any illegal wire connections to your location by diailing the Meralco Hotline #16211.
It may simple, but it helps bigger to save our enviroment.
